Check eMIPP! The Health IT Project Team frequently gets questions from participants asking where their incentive payment is in the process. The answer to this question is actually at your fingertips. First, log into your Electronic Medicaid Incentive Payment Program (eMIPP) record. Once logged in, you have the capability through "View Status" to see where your application (and payment) is in the approval process. Since records are updated to reflect any change in status, checking eMIPP provides you with the fastest and most accurate information on your situation. UPDATE: Automated password and login for first-time Incentive Program participants to start April 1! Beginning April 1, generation and dissemination of Provider One password and logon identification will be automated for the domains of servicing only providers, who are first time participants in the EHR Incentive Program. This will significantly reduce the time necessary to setup up authorized access to eMIPP, the online tool used to complete and submit EHR Incentive Program applications. Once the first-time applicant completes registration at CMS, the state will receive notification of the provider's interest in applying to the Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. Upon receipt of this notification the state will generate the password and logon identification for the applicant, who will receive them in two separate emails. These credentials will only be sent to the contact email that was entered when registering at CMS. Please note that it is critical to ensure the email address entered at CMS accurately reflects the valid email for the program applicant or their authorized representative. Invalid email addresses will cause the process to error out. EHR Incentive Program to host outreach events statewide this May! During the month of May, the EHR Incentive Program will be making several stops around the state to demonstrate how organizations can maximize the amount of qualifying eligible professionals and federal incentive payments they receive! These events will focus on how to define a group and using the Group Proxy methodology to calculate patient volume. You will learn from experts using real-life case studies documenting how to prepare and submit applications using this method. Also, our Health IT Project staff will be available to answer any questions. Stay tuned for upcoming notification with dates and locations for these events! Thank you again for your interest in the state's Medicaid EHR Incentive Program. Please feel free to contact us with any questions or comments at [log in to unmask].
